CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS - Friday 14th Events

Scene from Reason To Sing
The events for the weekend kicked off with a musical production entitled REASON TO SING, a musical adopted from a popular musical to fit one of the reason for the weekend, the Centenary of the Public School. This production was the equal to any you would see in a large regional centre and was a credit to the Boomi Amateur Thespian Society and the Boomi Public School. The top photographs show scenes from the musical.

After the musical concluded, it was "Dancing In The Street", literally, with one street, opposite the hotel, closed off and a band supplying the music. See the last two photographs.
