DELUNGRA LOCAL HISTORY

This section of the page is designed to provide space for people of the Community to provide local history information about their community and to provide links to relevant history sites related to this community. The management of this site realises that this list may not be complete.

In the year 2000 a memorial was established at nearby Myall Creek in rememberance of the Myall Creek Massacre of 1838, some 15Km south of Delungra on the Bingara Road.

There is also a second web site featuring The Massacre, which covers some different aspects. This one is by the aboriginal artist, Colin Isaacs.
