Tingha Swimming Pool Project
The township is currently raising funds to build themselves a swimming pool for the town. Leading Rugby League Player, Nathan Blacklock, who grew up in Tingha and now playes for the St. George Illawarra Rugby League Club, is a key figure in the project. People wishing to help the community can contact the Nathan Blacklock Youth Trust on (02) 9818 0952.

Anaiwan Local Aboriginal Land Council: 7 Opal Street , Tingha : (02)6723 3022 : Anaiwan LALC provides housing for members, refer to and work with other service providers, provide programs for youth, men & women, NAIDOC etc when funds are available.We also advocate for the Aboriginal communities within our boundary, Tingha, Inverell, Bundarra, Bingara and Warialda. Anaiwan LALC invites all Aboriginal people within these communities over the age of 18 years to become active members and help us make a difference in their community.
