That you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts.
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind. And that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true rihteousness and holiness.
God wants you and I to put off our old selves, the way we thought, the way we acted, the deceitful things we did before we became born again Christians. We must be renewed in the spirit of our minds, we must be mindful of who and what we are now in Christ. If we stole before we came to God then let us cease from stealing. If we told lies, then we must stop and tell the truth now. As mentioned earlier we must be renewed in our minds. How do we do this? We must get to know the mind of Christ, and how do we do that? By reading His word and following His path and allowing the spirit of God to move in your life. Let go and let God have His way in your life and you will begin to see God move in a miraculous and powerful way, a way that you will not want to come out of. For we were created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. Let us grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
