FOR FREEDOM WE RIDE

The song was inspired by the 2 million bikers ride that took place in Washington DC on the 11th September, 2013. Riders came from all over the USA to express their feelings at the erosion of their rights to freedom by the very people appointed to protect those rights. The response was shunned by mainstream media and even the officials played 'bad choice' videos on the traffic cams that are locates along the path of the ride so as to make it look like no motorbikes came.

The base music was actually written back in February 2013 (the bass progression, rhythm and drums) but I knew that this was for something special. It lay there until I was watching videos of the ride and was moved to know that this was written for that purpose. In the days that followed, the melody and the words were worked into that original music. Then came the frantic work of getting it recorded as quickly as possible and to get it online.

It is hoped that a video will soon follow.
