This world heritage rainforest area lies along the Queensland and New South Wales border to the north of Kyogle, to the northeast of the Summerland Way. Access to the park can be gained from a number of points including Wiangaree and Grevillia.

Features of the park include the number of volcanic plugs and its dense sub-tropical rainforest. Camping and picnic facilities exist in the park and the scenic drive that starts at Wiangaree is a worthwhile trip.
