Sheep Farming
Moree is the centre of the richest agricultural region in Australia and is sometimes referred to as the agricultural capital of Australia.

There is a wide variety of agricultural practices to be found including the traditional sheep, cattle and wheat through to the aspect of cotton, macadamia nuts, sunflower and other oil seeds and olive oil production.
