HAT HEAD Tourism

The village of Hat Head lies just 32 Km north east of Kempsey and right in the heart of the Hat Head National Park.

Hat Head is known as one of the best fishing spots in NSW with sea, river and snorkelling fishing available. Because it is only 12Km from the edge of the continental shelf, it is also popular for bluewater fishing.

Hat Head is also popular for the family with its beach and creek swimming and plenty of bushwalks to occupy people. Enjoy the location or enjoy the peaceful atmosphere - the choice is yours at Hat Head.
