Dundee is a smalll village less than 1Km west of the New England Highway some 21Km north of Glen Innes. To most travellers on this stretch of the highway, Dundee will be identified with the heavy vehiclet monitoring station that straddles the highway and Dundee.
However, for many people, the village is identifed by the Bushman's Carnival that is held in the village each January. An event which attracts people from all over the region as they travel to enjoy the rodeo style events that have made the carnival a popular attraction.
