The Coonabarabran DPS Local & Family History Group Inc. undertakes research into local ancestry and localities within the Warrumbungle Shire. Our office is open Tuesday to Friday from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm. We hold a general meeting of members at our Research Centre, 69 John Street, Coonabarabran on the third Wednesday of each month at 2 pm.
The group has launched a number of books including "Coonabarabran Pioneer Register Volumes I and II", priced at $60.00 each, “Coonabarabran – As Time Goes By”, a pictorial history of Coonabarabran costing $20.00 and “Isolated Graves in the Coonabarabran Area”, priced at $30.00.
