This page is designed to provide space for people of the Community to provide local history information about their community and to provide links to relevant history sites related to this community. The management of this site realises that this list may not be complete.
DPS Coonabarabran is at this time expanding to include any/everyone interested in Local and Family History whether using computers or not. Subscription: $25pa per person, per calendar year. Meetings: 3rd Tue of every month at Meeting Room, 69 John St Coonabarabran 2357, 10am-12noon. Meeting one hour leaving an hour to share, workshop, research, projects etc Research Service available, reasonable rates. Please ring Alice. Our primary aim is to preserve the documentary history of our area so donations of material or photocopies of same are accepted with much gratitude.
Extended hours. Monday, Tuesday , Thursday and Friday 9.30 am to 1.30pm other times by appointment.
6.Resources extended to Computers, microfiche, Cd's family histories, maps and books on local and overseas topics.
