Burren Junction Public School
Serves an area 40kms west, 30km south, 20kms east and 25km north of the town The enrolment is 55 students, split into three classes, being K/1 2/3 and 4/5/6 All female teachers with several casuals on call and a resident Reading Recovery Teacher as well |

The High School students who remain in the district travel to Wee Waa High School by bus leaving at 7.50am M-F and returning at 4.25pm
Most farming families send their children away to boarding school and the town families usually send theirs to WWHS, unfortunately they don't have a choice
