I thought this may be of interest to your local paper. My Grandfather was a resident of the Baradine area all of his life and is buried in Baradine Cemetery.
The last child of John & Matha Carlow's 11 children passed away 8/4/2009. Martha Kathleen Melville would have been 102 in Sept. Right until the last month she still lived alone in her unit.
Kath as she was known, was born at JuneeVale,Baradine Creek, her parents were married at Sunnyside,Baradine Creek. I thought there may still be people in Baradine who may remember the family and like myself are interested in Family history. Thank you for taking time to read this.
Many Thanks, Margaret Jenkins
